From a purely personal perspective, it sounds like this book is a bit of a missed opportunity - disappointing to see that older versions of the gradebook are included rather than the latest.
I guess this is always going to happen with printed guides though and the suggestions & advice will still be worth looking at. Just seems a bit of a short-cut not to use the most up to date version, especially as this is something that most teachers will be the most interested in.
